How to " meditate " in The Sims 3?

Hello everyone!

Could you please help me?

I bought "The Sims 3: The Great Adventure," but today I'm stuck on a mission in China: I need to "meditate in the Scholar's Garden for 2 hours."

So I went there thinking I just had to stay for 2 hours, but that wasn't the case!

So how do I meditate in The Sims 3?

    I read through some topics, and it seems you need to have a level 5 mastery of martial arts to be able to meditate. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm off to do so right now :)

    I confirm what yoshiii says, you really need to level up martial arts until you unlock the ability ^^", you can do it in this same temple which has a few machines, but you can also buy a book to do the first levels or buy the machines yourself to place them at home :D

    I’m not sure because I've never tried, but if you go to the Garden of Scholars and click on your Sim, several options should normally appear, including "meditate," right?

      No, unfortunately!
      This option was available in The Sims 2 (when a sim reached a certain logic level) but apparently not in The Sims 3!
