How to make a baby pee in The Sims 3?

I'm playing The Sims 3 and my sims had a baby, but it's been a few days and I can't get it to pee: the gauge is red.
Can someone explain to me how to do it?

    Hello

    If it's a tiny one, you click on it and select "change the dirty diaper."

    If it's at the toddler stage, your sim needs to buy a potty. Then you click on the potty and choose the option "teach **** to use the potty."
