Probleme de demarrage

Bonjour, j'ai allumé mon laptop et j'ai eu ce message d'erreur:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language settings, and click "Nest"
3. Click "Repair your computer"

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance

Le probleme c'est que je n'ai pas le cd d'installation car c'etait un windows preinstaller.
Est-ce que quelqu'un a une autre solution a me proposer????

PS: j'ai un cd de windows XP. Est-ce que je pourrai le mettre dans mon laptop et remplacer windows Vista?
