Solved

Hello,
I bought a USB car radio LG Lac-6900rn. The installation went completely normally; however, when I connect my USB drive to the unit, it says: "USB check", which I think corresponds to the loading time of the tracks, then it shows "USB ERROR".
I formatted my drive to FAT, FAT32, and I put the tracks with or without folders and nothing works!

What should I do? Thank you!!
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Well, the USB-C port is for reading in "mp3" format; if none of your music is in mp3 format, that's logical.

Of course there are MP3s on it.. FAT is a type of formatting.. I'm not an idiot!

      I didn't say that... I wouldn't allow myself to.
What kind of USB drives are they because some car radios only read from MP3?

It's a basic USB key.. I searched the net for solutions but couldn't find any posts about my car radio.. The USB key works on the PC.. I've read here and there that it's about formatting in FAT or FAT 32 but nothing works.

Well, if the car radio is new, go see your seller and have it tested, then test another car radio and you'll see if it's the unit or your key that's acting up.

Some USB drives cannot be read by the car radio; I have an LG DVD player that has a USB input for playing movies, and it doesn't read all USB drives (there is one type of USB drive that it didn't even detect, which are low-end unbranded drives). So try another brand (Verbatim, Traxdata, or another).
