it works, it's indeed the StickyNotes.snt file that saves the notes, I copied it from one post to another and it works perfectly.

So super cool... it works, even with Windows 8!

The information is not stored in the RAM, so it must be saved somewhere. It must be stored in a TXT file or something else. But where?

Thank you untenshu for the response, but in doing research, one can only find the .exe of the sticky notes.
StikyNot or sticky notes => C:\Windows\system32\StikyNot.exe but not the folder where the information entered in the sticky notes is stored.

Type : %appdata% in the Windows search bar.

Well, I have no choice; I will have to redo everything... and dig it all up from the depths of my memory (not easy).

I would have never thought of ghosting the sticky note! I won't fall for it again! As you said, I'll take my post-it and my pen. I will also try a sticky note software and make sure there's a folder that stores the information. Otherwise, a little copy/paste into a Word document or Notepad would do the trick, because extra software = less RAM available.

Hello, first of all, thank you for the reply... I've already tried the restoration but to no avail... the sticky notes always appear empty. Well, I think I have to come to terms with this idea: I have truly lost everything!!!!!

I haven't used it.

We didn't ask you if it's crap or not, but just if you knew how to retrieve them.
