MDS to ISO file conversion Closed

Question

Hello!
So I have 2 files: one in MDS format and one in MDF format. I'm looking to convert both of them to ISO format. Is it possible? If so, what software do I need to do that? Please answer me!

Hello,

You cannot convert them.

A *.mds (or *.md5) file is used to check the integrity of a file (usually downloaded). See

A *.mdf file is a macro definition file. See (again)

A software called WinISO is capable of converting any format into another format: MDS => ISO

My MDS file is in .noc format, so I can't convert it with WinISO.

I would like to know if I need to burn both the MDS and MDF files onto the CD for it to work because I transformed the MDF file into an ISO and burned my game CD. The PlayStation logo appears, and then nothing happens! What should I do with the MDS file???? Thank you for helping me, I'm struggling.

You turn it on and then you look at the small window at the bottom right of the screen, right-click, open a virtual drive, look for your file, and that's it.

it is enough to simply change the extension of your file(s) and thus write *.iso at the end of the file name.
