Unable to read my messages on Badoo

Hello,
For a few weeks now, I have been unable to read the messages sent to me on Badoo. Each time, it asks me to update my personal information, and when I enter the name of my city (which I know by heart), I always receive the message: "Incorrect city." I wonder if my Badoo account has been hacked and how. Also, Badoo does not offer an alternative for clients to recover their accounts in case they forget a password... why?
