Unsupported charger nokia

Hi everyone,
I've been having a serious problem with my Nokia for the past two weeks.
In fact, when I plug in the charger, I get a sweet message: this charger is not supported.
I took it to the Nokia service center, they called me and told me that it was the motherboard and that there’s a high chance it will be ruined if they touch it.
The repair will apparently be expensive.
I find it outrageous since I just changed the battery!!!! :((
I'm going to pick it up from the service center tomorrow.
What can I do to fix it myself?
Could you give me a website/TUTORIAL or something?
Have you ever had this problem and how did you resolve it?

PS: I'm open to ALL possible methods!!!
