Nokia 6086 packet data

Hello,
I've had a Nokia 6086 for only a few days and I have a little problem!!
When I try to connect to WAP, to the internet, or when I download a ringtone, it tells me "please subscribe to the packet data service"! What does that mean? Where do I need to sign up for this thing?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hello, I also have a 6086 and for the WAP configuration, you go to the Orange website, register to get an account, then choose the brand of your phone, then configure your mobile, then go to automatic WAP, and in 2 minutes you will receive a text message and there you go, your WAP works
See you

I use a phone from Orange and I am subscribed to Virgin Mobile. How do I connect to Wi-Fi when it keeps displaying "please enroll in the packet data service" every time?
I did as you said, I created an account with Orange but it doesn't work.. do you have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Hello

To set up the data, you need to configure the phone.
To do this, you need to call your customer service, they will send you one or two configuration SMS, which you need to open and then you're good to go.

Ps: Virgin doesn't do data in packets, I'm with them and I asked ^^

I tried to set it up, it worked but it doesn't change anything about the packet history, don't you have an idea? Thanks.

Moi Hicham Asbai, j'ai installé l'internet sur le téléphone Nokia C3 avec une carte 3G, mais il affiche "Inscrivez-vous au service de données par paquets, ligne non disponible".

For packet data, the Orange site is the solution I found.
You need to go to the customer area, my mobile, configure my mobile.

And then you receive an SMS and voila ^^ it's magical!
(for GPRS, however, I have no idea. I know there are issues with the "Unik" plan on Orange and that there's a Livebox nearby.)

Hello, for several months I had been trying to get the internet to work with the phone's modem. Unfortunately, it always displayed the error "subscribe to the packet data service". I managed to get the internet working tonight through the modem of my Nokia 6288. In the modem settings (in the device manager), in the Advanced Settings tab, one field was filled in as +CGDCONT=,,"orange" in my case, instead of ‘orange’, it said ‘internet’, and that was where the problem came from.

You might want to check with your phone carrier (Orange, SFR, Virgin, etc.). They can let you know who to contact for your issue.

Hello, but for many ringtones, you need to pay a subscription, as well as euros.

Hello

GPRS stands for packet data
The 6086 also does Wi-Fi, and I think it only works with a Livebox...
In any case, I have a Freebox and it doesn't work.

Hello,

I'm bumping this topic because I recently acquired a new phone and this problem persists despite having set it up for WAP, GPRS, Mail... through the Orange website.

Can you please help me?

Thank you in advance.

I also bought a USB Bluetooth port, which should be the same as yours, but that doesn't answer my question. My phone was configured using the SMS sent via the Orange website, and still, I don't have access to WAP, I can't send emails...

Hey, I'm going to test Nokia PC Suite.

Hello, go to the settings on your Nokia, then configuration, and you should see in the first line Default config settings Orange GSM if you are with Orange, or visit the website www.orange.fr and look for Nokia 6086 configuration.
See you later

Hello,

I created a user account on orange.fr to sort out this packet data issue for someone and nothing is working. I’m following the steps provided exactly, but I keep being prompted for the username and password. The user account is created, I see the name displayed, but I can't configure anything in the settings. Nothing happens. I didn't even provide a mobile number, and when I try to modify my profile to enter a mobile number, it tells me that it's not valid. I’m trying with prefixes but still with no success. The mobile is a Nokia 3200. I selected it and tried to configure it, but.
Where’s the problem? The mobile number obviously isn’t entered because I wouldn't be able to receive texts otherwise. But there hasn't been anywhere to enter that number. And it’s impossible to add it.
My username is a hotmail.com address and a password I created while following the steps to set up a user account.
What’s wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Good evening,
The packet data service depends on the operator. If you are with Orange, go to the Portal, Tab "MOBILE", "mobile choice", "Configuration" and you will receive an SMS (PIN code 0) to register, and you’re good to go. If you can't manage it, don't hesitate to call customer service who will give you the instructions.
On the other hand, VIRGIN does not provide this service for the navigation device traffic services, I GOT SCAMMED for 2 years and I’m really pissed off.
