Install the Homebrew chain with a USB key

Hello,
I've discovered how to install the Homebrew Channel for Wii version 4.2 (and also without the Legend of Zelda game :D). I have everything I need except a non-SDHC 2 GB maximum SD card. I have a USB drive
with 2 GB, so I’m wondering if it would work as well

    Hello,
    I'm sorry to tell you that you can't install The Homebrew Channel with a USB drive and that once installed, your Wii will not function properly.

    I'VE HAD THE EXPERIENCE!
    I had tried to install the internet channel afterwards and it didn't work because the Homebrew installation will render important files on your Wii corrupt so that it can work with the HomeBrew.
    It's not recommended.
