Line Number Formatting

Hello,

I am in the process of writing a Word document in which I need to insert line numbers. I'm fine with that.
The problem is that I don't know how to format them (font, size, ...).

Could someone lend me a hand?

Thank you.

PS: I am using Word 2007 and I know it's possible in Word 2003... (unfortunately...)
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6

I was on Marina's site and came across the answer to your question (https://faqword.com/index.php/wfaq/mise-en-forme/659-est-il-possible-de-modifier-la-taille-et-la-police-de-la-numerotation-de-ligne-.html

You just need to modify the Line Number style.
This style may not be displayed in the styles list. Here’s how to change it:
Word 2007
* In the Styles pane (accessible by clicking the dialog launcher located at the bottom right of the Styles group on the Home tab), click the Manage Styles button (3rd button at the bottom).
* Click on the Modify tab.
* For ease, choose alphabetical sorting.
* Select the Line Number style.
* Click the Modify button: change the style and click OK, then click the Close button.

It's a question that is very rarely asked, and an intervention that is very rarely carried out ...
