Amerzone, impossible to launch!

Hello,
I have had a game called L'Amerzone "The Explorer's Testament" for a very long time. It’s a game that I BOUGHT! and it’s giving me trouble.
I tried to install it this morning but nothing works. The executable launches, I click on install and nothing happens, I have to take the CD out.
I even tried to make an ISO of CD 1 (which I would then emulate with DaemonTools), but to no avail. The program throws an error and refuses to copy.
Moreover, when I open "My Computer," it takes a long time to load, whereas normally it takes 2 seconds for another CD or DVD. Could it be because it's an old game with old files that have fallen into oblivion ^^ (as opposed to Windows 7) or something else? But what can I do?

Hi,
it might be a bit late to respond to you, but I had exactly the same issue this week. The autorun for Amerzone doesn't seem to work under Win7 (no activity when launched). I solved the problem by going directly to the install directory of the CD (I can't quite remember the name) and launching setup.exe...

I also had the same problem (apparently everyone wants to play this old game again...)
