How to disable Bitdefender Total Security

Hello, I have the BitDefender Total Security 2010 antivirus, and I would like to temporarily disable it, but I don’t know how to do it (I right-click on the icon, but there is no option to Exit or Disable, and I also opened the task manager, and when I try to stop the process, it says: The operation could not be performed Access denied even though I am the administrator).

Please tell me how to do it.

    Disable BitDefender: double-click on the BitDefender icon next to
    the clock, then in the 'Antivirus' section, under the 'Resident' tab, click
    on the 'Disable' button. The message 'The resident is disabled' will appear
    in red and the button will change to 'Enable'.

      I didn't find that helpful at all, what clock? What resident tab? I didn't find anything, your information doesn't help at all, there's nothing clear, just like three quarters of the time, people never manage to be clear so they post for nothing, no thanks..
