Mario Kart DS Mission

Hello,
I'm stuck in Mario Kart on DS at mission 1-8 because I don't know how to do a turbo drift?

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

On the DS, you must press R to drift, and while drifting, quickly alternate left - right, and then you should see sparks of different colors appear...
Pressing R alone, you see smoke, then left - right sparks blue, and then left right again and there you have the red sparks, and that's when you release R to get the turbo!

You must keep pressing R when you need to turn left with the directional pad. I finished the game without a code, you can trust me.

Il faut rester appuyé sur R en tournant et faire bouger de droite à gauche la croix directionnelle. J'ai terminé le jeu sans code, tu peux me faire confiance.
