FREEBOX TV IMAGE BUT NO SOUND

Question

Hello,
I just installed my Freebox: Everything is fine
EXCEPT
The TV: I receive digital TV but there’s no sound !!!

Where could that come from?

I rebooted my device, checked the connection of my scart plugs, but nothing at all!

Hello...
For those who are having issues with the Freebox TV freezing...
Unplug the power supply 5 times while holding down one of the 5 small black buttons on the front.
The Firmware will appear, along with all the following steps...
And normally, it should be up and running again!

Same problem. I have a ton of connections at home (speakers connected to a big sound "platform" that is connected to a projector). I plugged the video cable out from the Freebox and into the platform, but for the sound, I don't know what connection to make... I've tried everything but nothing works, no sound is coming from these speakers... Does anyone have an idea?

I had the same issue, I just checked if the SCART connector was properly connected. It was indeed a connection problem with the SCART socket behind the TV.

I had the same issue (especially when using a VCR) and each time it came from the scart cables. You just need to "wiggle" them (I don't know if that's a French term but that's what we say in Normandy) a bit for it to work.
wiggle: shake the connectors a bit in all directions to properly establish all the contacts.

Hi,  I had the issue and it was simply that the TV sound was not loud enough. Indeed, if the TV sound is not at least at 10%, there is no sound.  I struggled a bit to find that out ;)

Hello,

I also had a sound problem on all the channels, I couldn't believe it but indeed it was by increasing the volume on the TV remote and then increasing the volume on the box remote that I finally managed to get sound on all the channels.

It's quite silly but I wouldn't have thought of that!
