Hello, me too I have an IT department and I can tell you it’s very finicky about connecting to Wi-Fi, I’ve seen plenty of error codes ... Which operator are you with?
Personally, I’m with Orange, I have the Livebox so (logical right ?) ;).
So your problem 052010-1 means that your DHCP settings of the access point and those of the DS appear incompatible. And the … well you have to be a bit more IT-savvy to manage it, DHCP is a setting typically "enabled" by default, allowing your router (or box) to automatically assign IP addresses to the mechanisms or devices that are connected to it. It’s complicated ...
My advice: try configuring your Wi-Fi by choosing the "manual configuration" option and enter a valid IP address (from your PC).
There you go, hoping to have helped.

1: connect to your Livebox home page, explanation: when you connect to the internet, where you have the site address e.g. http://www.google.fr
you delete the COMPLETE address!! including the http... and you type the IP address of your PC in the form 197.169.2.8
then you land on the Home page of your Livebox with the name of your network etc
you enter your login credentials
NB: if login = admin
password = admin
2: go to the "configuration" tab, then "livebox" then "wi-fi parameters"
There at the bottom you will see a list in which your PC appears with its IP address, MAC etc. there are all devices authorized to connect to your Livebox in this list, the goal being to register your DSI in this list :D
3: go to "advanced settings" and add your DSI with its IP address and MAC address located in your DSI in "internet" "options" "general information"
4: verify that your DSI console is properly registered in the previously described list
5: redo the connection that led you to this dreaded error message and voila it works
enjoy!!
hope this mini tutorial can help!! -

Hello
I can’t get internet, my error code is 052010-1. I’ve had this problem since we moved to Bouygues; before we were with Orange and it worked very well.
I’m using a DSi
Thank you for helping me -
hello
i found my IP address it's not too hard but then in the advanced settings they also ask for
the gateway and the subnet mask i searched what they could correspond to but i found numbers that don't fit the characters of the DSL because it asks for a few things like "000.000.000.000" and for the mask i find numbers like "000.000.0.0" and likewise for the gateway so if anyone knows how to help me please I really need it
thanks in advance ;) -
I tried several times again by making a new attempt each time.. Go ahead & you’ll see for yourself!

I have already searched quite often on support and there is no answer for error code 052010-1, even though it only happens to me once in 2 during the connection test, but it is impossible to connect to the internet. I tried to find a way to connect but I get the impression that the Belgacom Bbox is not compatible with the DSI because I did manage to connect with another connection other than Bbox... For your problem I did not quite understand at what moment it occurs.

Actually, for the 052010-1 connection problem with the console, go to your Livebox settings. Example with Orange: after entering the password, go to the Internet section, then Wi-Fi settings. There you need to change the mode to b/g so that you can then select the security mode WPA/TK (TKIP). Save this change. It should work.
