My FreeBox keeps disconnecting.

Hello,

For over a week now, our FreeBox keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes when we use the Internet. This issue has been occurring for quite a while, but not to the point of disconnecting every 5 minutes like it has been in recent days... We have inquired with our neighbors, and unfortunately, it seems that our Free line is indeed unstable :(

The FreeBox displays the time, when suddenly, the time no longer appears, and a yellow line spins around looking for the network...

If you have ever experienced this problem or have any information to provide us, we would gladly accept it because it is really disruptive (Y)

No, it doesn't come from the PC. If the quality of the line deteriorates, the ADSL signal is interrupted
for very short periods (at least) and the Freebox loses its synchronization. Hence its return
to a slow or fast "strobe" effect.

This is what we call "unforeseen and regular synchronization losses."
I think it's better to call Free at 1044.
Otherwise, check the connections.
Modem directly to the France Telecom socket (without any additional phone extension).

Hello

I have given some thought to this kind of issue. If you are on "total unbundling," meaning everything is with Free, you only have the Free hotline left, even if it’s not a gift.

If you still have the FranceTélécom (Orange) line, you can try calling 1013, which is the support for line issues. Don’t mention the internet or Free, just say that your line is acting up and there are some annoying issues (echoes, interruptions, noise...). Say that you were advised to call them to check the quality of the line. That's what a technician from Free told me, who saw that my line was malfunctioning. In a few days, it was fixed.
