I will explain clearly, there is nothing simpler than updating your Blu-ray DVD player. LG provides an update for each player in the form of an uncompressed file. You simply need to download it, decompress the files, and place them in one of your folders. Then, insert a blank CD and burn those folders onto your blank CD or DVD. Your updates are now ready. Insert the CD or DVD into your player. Wait for the instructions that appear, asking if you want to perform the updates. Press OK, the player loads the updates, and once done, your player is up to date.

Hello,
I have an LG BD350 Blu-ray player and I'm having trouble with the updates.
I downloaded the one available on LG's website, burned it onto a blank CD, inserted it into my player, but nothing happened. No window opens to start the update.
I also tried putting the update on a USB stick...
Can someone help me?

I was able to download the update from the manufacturer's website, I extracted the archive and put it on my USB stick, but once my stick is inserted into the drive, I can't detect the update.

If anyone has the solution, thank you in advance.

Hello,

I just unlocked my LG BP450 DVD player (also works for BP250 Europe version)

the procedure is described here

you need to burn a Data CD with Windows using the file \violet0000\rubicon\MontBlanc.DVD

(download the Montblanc.txt file and in the DOS command prompt do a rename Montblanc.txt MontBlanc.DVD / then burn the directory with the file onto a blank CD but not a CD-RW)

start the CD on your DVD player and choose region 0. and that’s it :-)
