Hello,

I have just purchased an LG TV 32LF2510 with firmware 3.40.
I would just like to confirm that downgrading to firmware 3.15 is safe for this model?
Can you help me?

Best regards.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.7

    Hello,

So how to put it... I'm posting for anyone interested: I have a 37LH4000, but we're doing what we can. It was also on 3.40, I downgraded it to 3.15 with firmware found on an old Russian website, like I wanted to break my brand new TV. It worked, now I can watch HD for cheap. In the list of TVs compatible with this firmware, there's the 32LF2500. It looks a lot alike, huh.

Other than that, updating the firmware is risky in itself, because if the power goes out during the update, the TV is toast. Then you have to see what the customer service has to say... the update takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds, and it's super long.

So it's Sunday, I found this by chance while I was looking for it, regarding the firmware: "I used this firmware on my LG 32LF2510 and it worked perfectly"... I'm in tears.
