Hello everyone,
I'm using the Folder Lock software to block access to certain folders on my PC. It turns out that after blocking access to the Documents and Settings directory, the FOLDER LOCK software can no longer launch... I no longer have access to my data, if someone can help me that would be great.
Thank you

Good evening, friends
URGENT
Please, I lost my password for Folder Lock V5.2.6 and I can no longer access my folder
Can you tell me if there is a way? Please
If I format the C drive (the locked folder with Folder Lock is on D), will I be able to see my folder again? Is it possible to recover it?
Please help me
Thank you all in advance

Hello,
For those in the same situation, here are 2 solutions:
1) Boot from a USB stick containing a Linux version, Ubuntu or another... (I chose Slitaz) - go to the file explorer (the hidden folder appears there, along with the contained files) - make a copy of the content in a new directory - reboot into Windows and you're all set... you have recovered everything.
* Note 1: To create a bootable USB, use the Unetbootin software available for download here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/unetbootin/files/UNetbootin/568/unetbootin-windows-568.exe/download
2) Another solution: use Icare Data Recovery Software - start a disk scan - when the scan is finished, point to the directory to recover (the hidden one) and start the recovery. Detail: you need to recover the data to a different partition than the one where the data is located. (a USB stick will do, but it must be large enough considering the size of the data to recover)

Hi,
I had the same kind of problem, I had blocked certain folders like "My Documents" as well as a partition on the hard drive. I no longer had access to the folders and I couldn't see them anymore. Moreover, when I opened folder lock, it asked me for the password and then it wouldn't show anything, so I couldn't unlock anything. The solution is that for the folder you blocked, you right-click --> lock the folder with folder lock, it asks for the password and then you can unlock it easily. I hope I solved your problem.

but tell me
when you code a folder via folder lock, the folder itself disappears!! So I'm afraid that if I uninstall it, I'll lose my folder!! I have nowhere to find it by the way.
There you go and thanks in advance
