Hello,
I recently heard that in order to end climate change in SimCity Creator, you have to pollute the city as much as possible [absolutely everything]! So I tried it, and now my pollution map is completely red, at the max, and the environment one too.
I have about 307,000 Sims and the max amount of §... But I'm not moving to the next era :/ . Has anyone finished it, and if so, how did you do it? Please, it's urgent and I think a few others would also be glad to know ^^ thanks

You should not pollute everything. I just finished with climate change and to my great surprise, when I reached 450,000 Sims I was stuck and tried in vain to clean up when I realized that by adding high-density industries, the population was increasing: so my map ended up with a good half covered in industry and I reached around 580,000 Sims and Maxis congratulated me for having grown my city by 500,000 additional Sims, so there you go, that’s the solution.

If when polluting, we can move to the next era (the future), you must have made the mistake that it was precisely around the year 20XX, and Professor Sims is going to call you to say your city is considerably polluted and will send you to the future :)
Don't forget that there are 2 possibilities to end climate change. -
Hello everyone!
I haven't seen any messages talking about the giant tree, so I thought I would do it.. :)
At the dawn of civilization, when you've managed to reach a population of 5000, don't switch eras right away. Once you hit 6000 population, you'll receive a message saying you need to take care of the waste. At this point, you are offered a landfill of 3*3. When you switch eras afterward, you'll see that it transforms into a giant tree at the climate change level.
I believe the tree has a lot to do with completing the level, as afterward, we have to pollute everything and remove green spaces except for that tree.
I was at 99% in climate change and didn't have a single point left to add anything, then I restarted two other games by changing my approach to building roads to maximize the population, and then I read up on the tree to start again. So be patient and good luck! -
I mastered pollution by placing power plants next to each other, then in front of trees and garbage zones, then farms and trees in front of the first houses.
In the city where there are pollution points, I placed parks and it's working.
However, I also have a question: How should playgrounds be placed so that the Sims can have enough, as they constantly ask me for more? -
I finished everything (the giant tree too) it's so good and good luck finding the answers and tips.

I now have 337,000 sims and an approval rating of 64 percent... anyway, the two are related.

Thank you very much. I'm sorry for not responding earlier, I didn't realize there had been replies ^^' So you need to reach a certain population number and then establish high-density industries? That sounds good to me, I would have been disappointed to have to pollute everything when I've managed to reach about 350,000 sims without pollution ^^'
Thanks again for this solution :) -
No one has managed to go to the next era??!
