Go to the Device Manager >>> right-click on the device (in yellow) >>> properties >>> Details

And post the device identifier here

Just a skin.
I've had my computer with this skin for a year, it probably doesn't come from that.

However, since I ran an Avast scan, I've been having this network card issue. A file must have been infected and I probably deleted it by mistake.

I don't understand why you say that the Windows version is weird?
I thought it was because of the window since it's the Vista theme, whereas I'm on XP.

I can't perform a system restore, I have no restore points. :(

I solved my problem by repairing Windows using the installation CD.
