Confirmed on Windows XP, latest trunk, and I see it also in the latest Firefox
3.0 version.
This is not a very old bug, stems from ~Dec 2008. Problem is that it is not
100% reproducible.

Another curious behavior:

1. Ctrl+click the link, so that it opens on a new tab in background.
2. Wait that the page has loaded completely.
3. Click on the tab.
4. You see the Cookie dialog over this page. Close the dialog and you now see
the page.
5. Move the mouse anywhere.. FF will close the tab and open it in a new full
browser window. With the blank cookie dialog again.

Happens only with that page, as far as I know, but I'll keep testing.

Yes I see indeed more, but this blank cookie bug seems an isolated case with

So on Windows (and only on Windows, after bug 459244 got fixed), we call
SetWindow() on every paint. It looks like in this case Flash decides to run
some script, including setting cookies, during said call...

If this is allowed, we need to stop calling SetWindow from paint.

And the SetWindow call seems to date back to bug 109041, with the condition
getting somewhat changed in bug 116108.

Note that on m-c doupdatewindow is only used in the OS/2 branch of the code
(and should probably move there).

In any case, the fact that JS runs under painting is a critical bug in either
our code or in the Flash plug-in. I don't know which, offhand.

Oh, and with Flash disabled this bug does go away.

that was also landed on 3.0.x, which would imply this regressed there, as well?

Well, bug 466057 made this particular case visible, but bug 466057 didn't cause

your list of items to track down with our friends at Adobe.

Jim: can you also take a peek and see if there's something obvious we can do to
get around this?

Finally, doesn't block as there are some workarounds, but I'll relnote it.

I see the white cookies also in Firefox 3.0, but not the terrible hangs like in
latest trunk.
If you wait half a minute before responding to the cookie, it locks up and only
wiping over the (translucent) cookie dialog with the taskmanager can end it.
The hangs only started in the last month.

I'm unable to reproduce in the latest 1.9.1 nightly. Regardless, window->window
is null when the view changes in paint, so this looks like it's our first
chance to call set window on the plugin and is needed.

Pour faire simple, le bug provient apparemment d'un pb de prise en charge du Flash.
Qu' à tu comme plugins ou modules installés dans ton Firefox

Tu as pu tout comme moi entrer sur la page d'accueil du site sans problème le problème survient après quand on veut entrer dans une salle c'est à ce moment la qu'il me demande de réinstaller le plugin. Peux tu me donner la procédure pour aller voir ce que j'ai comme modules ou plugin dans mon firefox s'il te plait ?

"Outils", "Modules Complémentaires", "Plugins" donnes aussi la liste des "Extentions".
N' étant pas enregistré je n'ai pu aller plus loin.

Me revoila je crois que j'ai trouvé en modules complémentaires j'ai : java quick starter 1.0 et microsoft.net framework assistant 1.1
En plugin par contre j'en ai plusieurs adobe acrobat, garmin communicator plugin, iTunes application detector, java déploiement toolkit, java tm plateform se 6u11 et se 6u17, microsoft drm, microsoft windows media player firefox, mozilla default, picasa, quicktime, realjukebox ns, realplayer, shockwave, silverlight, windows live photo gallery.

Voila est ce que cela répond a ta question ?

J'ai désactivé tout ce que tu m'as conseillé et téléchargé les modules complémentaires que tu m'as listé j'ai dû par contre autoriser javascript globalement sinon je ne pouvais plus accéder au site ludiclub mais cela n'a toujours pas résolu mon problème je continu à avoir la page me demandant a chaque fois que je me connecte sur le site de réinstaller le plugin.....
Serais je un cas désespéré ? lol

J'ai redémarrer firefox en mode sans échec je l'ai désintaller par le panneau de config ajout sup de programme je l'ai réinstaller mais j'ai toujours le même problème, par contre j'ai essayé en passant par internet explorer et la apparement pas de soucis. J'ai également constaté que bien que la mémorisation des mots de passes soit activée mozilla ne me garde pas les mots de passes en mémoire et ne me propose pas non plus quand je vais sur un nouveau site de les enregistrer alors que pourtant la case "mémoriser les mots de passes" est cochée tout comme la case "accepter les cookies", ce qui me confirme que le problème vient bien de mozilla et non pas d'un éventuel logiciel qui éffacerait mes cookies chaque jour comme cela avait été envisagé par l'administrateur du site de ludiclub.

Si c'est pour 1 site passe par IE.

Bon je pense que j'ai trouvé le pourquoi de mon problème je vais mettre ma solution ici pour le cas ou cela pourrait peut etre servir a quelqu'un qui se trouverait dans le meme cas que moi.

En fait je suis allée dans "outil" ---> "option" ---> "vie privée" ---> et la j'ai sélectionner "conserver les paramètres de l'historique" alors que par défaut j'étais sur "conserver les paramètres personnalisés de l'historique" et depuis je n'ai plus de soucis.

Je n'avais pourtant jamais touché cette sélection je pense que c'est lors de la mise à jour qu'elle a été modifiée.
