Bonjour,
J'ai fait l'acquisition d'une carte geforce 210. pour mettre dans une IMEDIA MC 9600 de packard bell
Carte mère Cuba (MSI MS-7301)
Nom : Cuba
Type : Carte mère µATX
Fabricant : MSI

La carte vidéo marche très bien une fois le system d'exploitation lancé.
Le soucis c'est que justement le pc met au moins 5 bonne minutes à ce lancer, ce qui prend du temps c'est le check du materiel, les caractères s'affichent un par un

Ce que j'ai fait :
Testé la carte vidéo dans un autre pc => RAS
Mis à jour du bios => idem.
Vérification dans le bios la prise en charge pciexpress =>ok

Si je dois certainement overcloquer ma carte mère mais je trouve pas les fichiers qu'il me faut.
Vous m'aidez pas beaucoup avec ce genre de réflexions !

Il semblerait que finalement ce problème est plus connu que je le pensais .
Ce serait du au fait que la carte est en PCI expresse 16X et que le carte mère ne gére pas le 16X . Y a t'il un moyen de contourner le problème ?

NVIDIA, pfff ; ne propose pas de mise à jour des bios des cartes graphiques.

We are still trying to obtain some of the motherboards reported in this thrad. Presently, it appears it may be due to the motherboard BIOS, not the card itself. If after examining additional motherboards, the results are the same, this means that the fix will be to ask the motherboard maker to provide a BIOS update with a fix. The fix is very simple. A register in the motherboard BIOS must be enabled which appears some may not have enabled it. Your motherboard must have Memory Type Range Register (MTRR) enabled. To check, you may do the following however this will require some technical knowledge:
First, download the file below:

Unzip the files contents. You will need to run the utility in pure DOS (means you will need to create a DOS boot disk and boot off of the DOS boot disk). Add "device=himem.sys" in config.sys and load smartdrv.exe in autoexec.bat in the DOS boot disk or else the boot disk will take a long time to load. Type "msd.exe" to start the program. Then press TAB and left arrow key to "System Information" and press ENTER. Press PAGE DOWN key and you will see the Item 2. "Memory Information", in the bottom of this item you can see "Physical memory cache status". That's the MTRR setting for your system. If you see A0000~D0000 is uncacheable, that mean that the motherboard BIOS does not have MTRR enabled and is likely the cause of the slow POST issue."

J'ai exactement le même probleme sur le PC de ma femme.
PC qui vient de France. J'ai du changer de carte graphique (l'ancienne ATI ayant lachée), j'ai acheté une G210.
Depuis, il faut 5 bonnes minutes avant que windows démarre. Dans le boot, les caractères s'affichent un à un. Après, une fois que ça a démarré, sous windows ça marche, mais à l'allumage faut vraiment pas être pressé.
Y a t-il une solution ???????
