Hello! I downloaded Paint.NET a little while ago because my cousin had it and I saw it was really good. However, I put some text on a photo, and I can't seem to tilt the text to the side. Can you help me?

Peace
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

    Good evening,

You open a new text layer and rotate it with the line, and for the tilt, you do it with the center circle, http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/6752/paintq.png , http://ioj.com/v/0bkcg , http://ioj.com/v/ub5i9

It's good, I just found it, but how do we rotate JUST the text? When I rotate, either nothing rotates, or the whole image does. How do we open a text layer?

      Good evening,

      You install: dpy's Pack plugins:
      http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=32099

and you'll have plenty of fun with:
Circle, Rotate, Spiral, and Wave Text directly on the image or with a layer

You can edit a text if you open "Editable TextTool" before placing it on the image.

I haven't tested this with the Text plugins.

    Hi!

For writing on an image and tilting the text, I use PowerPoint... If that can help you a bit... Sorry, I've never tried paint.net.

What trait? Can you be a bit more specific, please? Thanks. Plus, you have the same style, black XP, like me =D...

      I have the same problem:
      - I type some text that I want to rotate later
      - When I go -> layer -> rotate, the whole image turns
I would like it to only be the text that rotates...
If you have the solution, I'm interested...

      Good evening,

To start, select the layer on which you placed the text (the outline will turn blue in the layers palette) because if you placed the text directly on the image, it will indeed be the entire image that will rotate, whereas only the text layer should do so. The explanation is here: http://ioj.com/v/bzxij

      What responsiveness!
      Thank you.
I'll test it out first thing tomorrow morning (feeling lazy right now... in bed with my smartphone...).
