Hello,
I have a MEDION AKOYA slim Notebook S5610, purchased at Aldi with a 3-year warranty.
My computer suddenly stopped working properly: out of nowhere, horizontal black scratches appeared on the white areas displayed with flickering. It doesn’t appear on other colors, but imagine a page like Google, we can’t see anything. I connected the laptop to an external monitor and everything is fine, so it’s the screen and not the graphics card. I’ve rebooted the computer several times, nothing.
Has this happened to anyone with this laptop or another? Is there anything to do besides sending it in for repair for months? Since it’s a screen issue, could I retrieve the laptop as is or should I back up everything on the device before?
Thank you,
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.15

Hello,
Although it’s the screen, make backups because they are not safe from a manipulation error.
Moreover it would bother me to leave my info in a factory, so before putting it back I would erase everything after this backup.
