Hello, does anyone know how to send sand to the guards' faces? I've tried everything, nothing works, not a grain of sand comes off :( lol  Please help me  Thanks in advance!

Hey  To throw sand, you hold the square without a weapon. But as far as I'm concerned, I can't manage to neutralize 4 guards; if you can, tell me how you did it.  Good luck!

Hello,

Personally, there was a moment in the game when the guards didn't attack me unless I provoked them. I attracted several guards by running, I stood in front of the group and threw sand at them. By the way, I don't know if it's a bug or normal, but the guards didn't attack at all.

Nikko, don't you think the cape has an influence? If your notoriety doesn't increase by stealing pieces, that's it :D

Otherwise, I managed to get that trophy with some luck on the third try, running like crazy with at least 10 guards behind me (the Venice square is good for the guards, that's where we steal). Run into an alley, turn around and throw down some sand but throw a smoke ball first if it doesn't work, and wait with your sand in hand.

The guards don't attack for sure because you had the Medici or Venetian cape, put on the Auditore cape.

To get back to the subject, I can't do it either. I threw sand at 4 guards but one by one, they weren't in a group so it didn't work. So do you have to do it in a group?

Hello, I succeeded on my first try, I attracted 6 of them, I threw smoke bombs and then I threw sand at them and I killed 1!! lol

you don't have to kill them, you just need to make sure that when you throw the sand, 4 guards get it in the face at the same time, that's all you have to do.

I can't kill them with sand, it doesn't do anything to them, but you need to use a smoke bomb; it helps a lot to throw sand. Otherwise, poison 4 guards and you only have time if they are close to each other to throw sand.

First, you need to learn how to throw sand. For that, go to the combat arena at the Villa and learn. Then go to a city where there is sand (not Venice because there is only concrete, and not Florence). Next, go unarmed and find a group of guards patrolling (usually, there are 4 of them) and provoke a fight, then flee and "hit" yourself against another group of guards. Dodge their blows and the other guards will arrive. For the Sand Merchant success, you need to have more than 6 guards against you. Get yourself into a dead end or against a wall, so they can't attack you from behind and they will be grouped in front of you... more convenient. Dodge the blows until you think it's the right moment and you have space to grab and throw sand at them. Some use smoke bombs before throwing sand, but I didn't need them, and I did it on the first try. However, make sure to bring plenty of remedies... then once you have the success, there's no need to kill the 4 guards you bombarded with sand... but since you’ll be in the middle of a fight right after getting the success, finish them all off and that's it!
