Probleme RAM

Bonjour,
J'ai Une Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Avec Un AMD Athlon XP 2800+ et 256 Mo de DDR etant juste j'ai voulu rajouter un autre barette de 256 Mo mais le bios et windows reconnait que 256 Mo je leve la barette deja presente je met lotre barette elle marche !

Sur CPU-Z il me marque 512Mo (2*256)
