Hello, please, I would like to know if the black Wii will have additional functions besides the current Wii, thank you in advance.

    I asked myself the same question not long ago because I plan to give my sister a black Wii and indeed it's the same as the white one, just prettier :)

      This is false, she may be prettier, but there aren’t the same holes to plug a dance mat!! there aren’t any!! and I have it on the white Wii!!

    Yes, that's correct. The new black Wii models have an inviolable reader, so it's impossible to read burned DVD-RW discs and other media.

    Hello, here’s what I found about the black Wii. You have:
    Black Wii Console
    Wii Sports game
    Wii Sports Resort game
    1 Wiimote and 1 Nunchuk
    Wii MotionPlus
    all in a limited edition, it’s released on November 20th I think I’ll buy it I think.

      I would like to know if I can use a Wii Remote, a Nunchuk, and a white Wii MotionPlus with the Black Wii (to avoid arguments with the kids). Does the white Wii hardware work with the Black Wii? (another issue with my kids' friends) Thank you. I hope I’ll get an answer.

    yes it will work, the shell changes color but not the inside of the controller...

    the black Wii has a super feature, but honestly it’s even better if you crack it, that way you can play games from an external hard drive, read DVDs (yes yes).

    The Wii Black will cost "only" €210, i.e. €10 more than the standard version. In the white Wii pack there is
    - One Wii console
    - One Wiimote, a Nunchuk
    - Wii Sports
    but in the black Wii pack there is, in addition to all that
    - Wii MotionPlus
    - Wii Sports Resort

    Here in the new version I bought from November 5, 2011 you can lay it flat and the writings aren’t upside down, but you can also put it upright, and this Wii is specially designed for that I think...

    I have a question, at Christmas I’m going to get the black Wii and I’ll have Mario Kart with a white steering wheel. My problem is that I don’t know if a black Wiimote works with a white steering wheel, and in the same case whether a black Nunchuk can connect with a black Wiimote and vice versa.

    if someone has an answer, please let me know as soon as possible

      No compatibility issue between the black Wii and the white Wii…. same accessories…. it’s just the color that changes. Also there’s the thing with the black Wii’s drive that’s bricked, but it doesn’t prevent the hack…

      Hello, not long ago I bought the black Wii for my little sister and she told me she couldn't find the Wii MotionPlus in the pack. Is it integrated into the Wiimote????

      Normally it's written on the box "Wii Motion Plus included" (in the controller) surrounded by a nice circle, you can't miss it.

      I just bought one yesterday; the Wii Motion is included, more in the white Wii, and I found no difference with the black one... same accessories, etc., except that the price is not the same!
