Hello,
I am in the industrial area, I need to repair TOBOR the robot but I am missing some parts (I have 6). I don't know where to search or what to do. Thank you for indicating where the parts are.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Here, I only had 9 pieces and I still managed to repair the robot:

    You need to put the two small gears so that the bottom is connected to the middle thanks to this.

    Then, you need to place the wire at an angle starting from the middle right to the left, and then add the wires in a straight line up to the angled wire already placed from the beginning.

    Next, you need to place the largest coupler of a gear installed at the beginning to the highest gear.

    Finally, you need to place the small coupler from the gear at the top right (horizontal line) to the other gear (vertical line on the far right).

    you need to look for everything that potentially has a motor, if I remember correctly, you can even take the parts from the kind of barrier that leads to the mad scientist's house, the cars, the gas pump...

      Tobor is in the small red building where there is a gray panel to lift above. You need to take the object (I can't remember the name) to the left of your Sims' tools and move the tire next to the red thing, then climb on the tire so you can reach the roof and enter through the 'door'; Tobor is inside. For the pieces, collect them from all the cars and machines (gas pumps, tractors, etc.). But it's really easy to get all 10! You have to try everything. I'm stuck where I have to repair Tobor... The mini-game is too hard there :S

      I'm in the same situation as you!! I'm only missing one and I've done absolutely everything!! When you go to the lab or the castle, I don't really know, on the left there's something but I can't pick it up!!
      Did you manage to get that one??
      Otherwise, there's one that took me a while to find even though it was right in front of me. When you enter the junkyard, there's a green "box" and next to it a hill of waste, go on top of it and there's something right in the middle.
      I hope it's the piece you were missing ^^

      Well, I saw that I already had all the pieces (I know, I know, that's lame) but I had placed them incorrectly!! So, well, I finished, I fixed the robot, and I'm giving you a summary of a video I found, so here’s where the ten pieces are:

      - Black thing on the left side of the boat
      - "Rock" behind the bins, to the right of the boat
      - Gas pump
      - Pink car, not the one where the hood was a mission, the other one near the construction site
      - Pole holding the yellow barrier leading to the factory
      - 2nd "pole"
      - 3rd pole
      - In front of the factory, don’t go up the stairs, head towards the door, and to the left of the door on those garbage bins, there’s also something to collect
      - Where Esma and her friend are watering plants, there’s a box with an item to collect
      - Near the pink car (still the one near the construction site) in the middle of the trash, there’s an item to pick up


      So, I know I make mistakes and it’s not well explained, but if you have questions, just ask me, and if you succeeded, let me know too :)

      Here you go, have you tried talking to your assistant (at HQ, in the office)? You need to ask her everything (about other missions if there were any, etc...) and walk around the areas (city, industrial zone). Otherwise, try talking to the TOBOR professor or his assistant again, I think that even though there’s no exclamation point, he will give you a mission and then everything will follow up ^^.

      For the curious, the game does not end (because there are always decorations to unlock, missions for your agents...) but the "end" of the game for me is after visiting the Inca temple in the forest. Sorry for this second message that takes up space and that is not really related to the initial question.

      Other people have marked the locations of the pieces, do it, assemble them and there you go!

      Unfortunately, I finished this game and I really don't want to do it again, so I don't remember much to find the required pieces.
