Dazzle DVD Recorder - Windows Sept

Solved

Hello,

I have had a Dazzle capture device, model DVD Recorder, for over a year. I switched to Windows Seven last weekend, and since then, I've been unable to get my device to work, probably because I don't have the right drivers.

Unfortunately, Dazzle has not provided any drivers for its customers, and I find myself in a bit of a bind...

If anyone has a solution to get my device working, perhaps with the Vista drivers, since Seven and Vista share the same core and are very similar.

Thank you in advance for your replies,

Timous.
Configuration: Windows 7 Firefox 3.5.4

Pinnacle does not make any hardware updates (card or capture box) to encourage consumers to buy a new product.

I just bought a second-hand one with its installation DVD and it refuses to install the driver under Windows 7 64 bits... IMPOSSIBLE to find its driver even at PINNACLE... It seems they refuse to make one to force sales... From now on, I will buy my software elsewhere, they are jerks... Excuse my language, but it’s the reign of money that counts by changing the system to prevent you from using your equipment when we can no longer afford to buy today... Cyrille

I disagree, I also have a Dazzle DVD recorder (which is old), I installed it on my computer (Windows 10) a month ago and found the drivers online without much trouble, I installed the capture software.
For my part, I still have a problem, when I captured the video, it is split, for example, 4/5 videos for a 60-minute video 8 camcorder tape. And on these 4/5 videos, I have 1 or 2 that have no sound!!! It's annoying, I have to rewind, start over and still it doesn't work every time... If someone can help me!!! Thanks

Zozo, can you tell me where you found this version? Impossible to find a version compatible with Windows 7.
Thank you in advance for your help.
      Best regards

    Hello,

I have Windows 7 64-bit... I installed the Dazzle 103 which is recognized as a 100... but it doesn't matter. I downloaded the corresponding drivers for Vista 64-bit from the address above and it's all good.

    Best regards.

Thank you very much to you, because with these pipes from Pinnacle there was nothing to do. Fortunately, we can rely on people like you. Now it works. Thanks again.

Here’s how I solved the problem with my Dazzle 100 Instant DVD RECORDER
      1) I installed the drivers from this page under the reference of my hardware and for Windows 7 64-bit. http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Hardware_Installer/readmeHW10.htm

      2) It offers me drivers for Vista 64 explaining that this should work.
      3) I therefore install this driver.
      4) I launch the original CD. There, it tells me that the installation is impossible.
In this case, go to the CD and on SETUP, right-click, and select the compatibility option.
      5) There, in my case, it launches the application. Upon entering the menu, I choose custom installation
      - Then I select everything except the drivers. Because they are already installed
      6) The installation goes smoothly
      7) A window asks you to test the application before confirming that the installation works.
In some cases, this may not even happen...
In both cases, launch the application found in Menu > start
      8) In my case, this worked. Then it asks me to choose standard or advanced mode.
      9) Once the configuration is complete, I tested a capture and it worked very well.

So Vista 64 driver taken from this address:
      http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Hardware_Installer/readmeHW10.htm
and the program taken from the original CD, launched in compatibility mode (older version)

    Good evening,

I am in the same situation as you: I have a DAZZLE DVD recorder and I am looking for drivers for Windows Seven 64-bit.

Have you found any leads or the drivers for 32-bit?

    Best regards

Go to the DAZZEL website and download the driver for your Dazzel version Vista Seven 36 and 64
I just purchased the Dazzel Video Creator and encountered the same problem.
