Hello, I just bought concert tickets on worldwideticketstore.com and I admit I rushed a bit... does anyone know this site and could they assure me that it is reliable?
I understood that I would receive the tickets 2 to 3 weeks before the concert date (September 16, 2010). That seems far away! Usually, we get the tickets right away or almost when we buy them...
If someone could reassure me!! Thank you very much!

Hello,
I would like to share my experience regarding deception and fraud with the company PASSION EVENTS.
About six months ago, I purchased three tickets for the U2 concert in category 3, scheduled at the Stade de France in September 2010, for approximately 390 euros, without receiving any receipt or payment invoice.
Concerned, I contacted this company last week, and they confirmed that there was no problem regarding the concert or the ticket delivery process; according to the representative, the opening of the vaults was scheduled for September 6, 7, and 8, 2010, with the tickets to be sent out shortly afterward.
Following a phone call on September 9, 2010, from PASSION EVENTS, they informed me that there was a problem with the category 3 tickets for the concert and that the supplier was unable to fulfill the contract made with PASSION EVENTS.
I asked the manager of the platform, not without difficulty, to clarify why PASSION EVENTS was unable to deliver the tickets I had ordered and paid for about six months ago.
The answer given was surprising; in fact, this company sells concert tickets that it does not own - according to the platform manager.
As if to demonstrate his good faith, he even offered me a discount on a future show by going through PASSION EVENTS!!!! Incredible
He also proposed, of course without any other compensation, to refund me for the tickets I had paid for.
I would like to know what actions I should take to publicly denounce what I consider to be a crime or fraud.
I hope for a response from you regarding the next steps.
Best regards.-
I would like to add that the scam plan is well executed - cashing in money from the sale of concert tickets that they do not own, growing the BB with a good interest rate, and then saying once the scam is completed that the tickets cannot be honored!!!! Let it be known!!!! Yes, I am talking about PASSION EVENTS.

...I've already ordered from similar sites, notably for the U2 concert in Berlin this year (which was amazing by the way!) and I received the tickets about a month and a half in advance.
-
I managed to contact these gentlemen yesterday by phone.
I cancelled my order by phone and confirmed it via email.
Fortunately, I was not charged on my card, so there’s no need to wait for a refund.
For safety, I’m going to block my card and order a new one. I have doubts about the future use of my Mastercard number by these people (even in a few weeks).
And as someone has already said: no recourse possible in 2010 for your debit.
A "legislation" that does not allow sending tickets earlier seems VERY strange to me.
And I didn’t want to stress until September 2010 ;-)
So, you can do whatever you want with this information.
I’ve made my choice...
Have a nice day everyone.-
HELLO,
I am delighted to see that I am not the only one looking for help! I also rushed on Friday night and am desperately searching for information on this site but found nothing! For my part, I called them on Saturday, and a gentleman quickly accessed my order via the reference number. Not completely convinced, I have since sent 3 emails, and they have responded very politely to each of them within 24 hours.
The transfer comes from Cyprus, which is indeed stated in their general conditions. The payment is made in two installments to reach the total amount of the order.
Regarding the timeline, he told me that they send it one month in advance because their promoter submits it to them 6 weeks before the event.
I don't think it's a scam because they wouldn't take the time to respond to us after receiving the money!
My banker looked at the site and didn't see anything suspicious.
Unfortunately, we won't know until mid-August!!!

Hello
what's surprising is that the concert is sold out and they're still selling tickets??? How do they do that? I'm skeptical.-
They probably have shared stock between different distributors.
Quick question, are the "PITCH / STANDING" tickets located in the standing lawn area (priced at 79.00 euros on the site)?? Does anyone know or are they located in the standing upper seating area? °-°
As for me, I still haven't been charged... and since I absolutely want tickets in the lawn....
I'm going to send them an email to ask for the information....
We'll see...

I also just bought 2 tickets on their site for €95 each (U2 at Stade de France, Saturday, September 18, 2010) and I don't think there's anything to worry about.
However, I wonder why sites like Fnac, Virgin, or Ticketnet indicate that no tickets are available..-
Look, I also bought a ticket and I sadly believe that they have stolen it!!!!
I don't know what to do!

Hello,
I bought 2 tickets this noon for U2, on this site.
After reading some of your comments, I got scared.
I called them twice this afternoon, and I spoke to a nice person who assured me that I would receive them.
You have the option to cancel your tickets; it will cost you $25 per ticket and you will be refunded within 14 days.
This is the first time I order from this site, we will see 5 weeks before September 18.
I think they will arrive. If not, oh well, you have to pray to learn.
I saw them in July at the Stade de France anyway.
There you go

Good evening
I tried to connect to the site this evening... does it no longer exist?? Does anyone know why? -
I can no longer access that site either. Should I assume that we won't see U2??? I had also bought 4 tickets. I even called them and spoke to someone who confirmed they would send them 6 weeks before the concert date.
What can we do? I'm open to more news, and of course any possible remedies... However, I thought I had received an email recently saying they were changing contacts, and in good faith, I must have deleted it because I can’t find it anymore.
Thank you for the information.-
BIG PROBLEM NO MORE SITE NO MORE PHONE NUMBER AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF FORUMS IN ENGLAND WHERE PEOPLE ARE SCREAMING SCAM AND HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS SO WHAT DO WE DO !!!!?????
- You need to send a registered letter to this company, requesting them to provide you with these tickets within 2 days or to refund you the payment possibly increased by an amount corresponding to the damage suffered, failing which you will have to file a complaint based on article 313-1 of the penal code - Your insurance company, if you have a Legal Protection guarantee, will handle the case with a lawyer first on an amicable basis and then resort to the judicial process if the complaint is filed.
Good luck and keep me informed.

Indeed, it's been 4 days since the site has been down!!! If anyone has any information!! I'm all ears because this is concerning.
-
There is news, meaning that the site no longer exists, no phone, nothing at all, and pages and pages of complaints on English forums...
It’s a real scam and we find ourselves with nothing... -
Hello, I also bought 6 tickets on this site for the U2 concert (September 18). I haven't received anything yet... I don't think I'll receive anything... Are you planning to take collective action? What should I do on my side?
Thank you for your help

PASSION EVENT RUN AWAY!!! cancellation of my order for 4 U2 tickets one week before the concert!!
-
Hi!
It seems reliable to me, since the payment is made over https, and the identity certificate is verified and valid....

If you have these tickets - all the better; otherwise, you must send a registered letter to this company, asking them to return these tickets within 2 days or to refund you, possibly increased by an amount corresponding to the damage suffered. Otherwise, you will have to file a complaint based on article 313-1 of the Penal Code - Your insurance company, if you have Legal Protection coverage, will handle the matter with a lawyer first in an amicable manner, then pursue it in court if the complaint is filed.
Good luck and keep me informed.

Hello,
I'm a bit late to the party. It indeed seems like a scam. I bought 2 tickets for the U2 concert on 10/16/2009. I printed a document when I bought my tickets and I also saved an email from them following a minor question I had asked. To this day, still no tickets, and I just got in touch with someone who was reselling tickets because unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to receive them!!!!!!!!!!

I also bought 2 tickets for U2 and it's causing me problems because we are sure of nothing, so let's stay in touch if there's any action to take.

Hello everyone,
I just tried to contact them by phone and it doesn't look good... no answer or no dial tone! I will try again later in the day, I'll keep you updated ;-)

Hello everyone,
like you, I rushed to this site.
After a bit of research, it is mentioned as a "possible scam site"...
Anyway, I sent an email to cancel my order. Either they respond, my order is canceled and... it was a reliable site.
Or they don’t respond, and I’ll try to cancel the transaction via Mastercard for breach of contract.
In short, it’s risky...
Good luck. -

I managed to contact them through the landline network. There seems to be a hotline that works well, I will call back later in the day because I didn't have time to talk... especially in English ;-). I'll keep you updated ++
-
I just got charged for the 2 tickets, it's happening fast, but I sent an email and no response yet!!!!
-
-
- It's the 23rd and still nothing.
I received an email yesterday informing me of a problem with my card (Mastercard), possibly I've already paid for it once..., so they couldn't process the order and are giving me a deadline to resolve it.
So I contacted them by phone today, and I'm waiting.
These tickets (if we receive them) are a windfall... because they're nowhere to be found (U2 concert in Munich on the lawn)... or at a price of about 120/150 euros...
Anyone else in my situation?

Hello everyone,
I just did a quick security check for the site and via Norton it seems there’s no scam:
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=www.worldwideticketstore.com&x=0&y=0
I will call them at noon and keep you updated on the information
++ have a nice day-
Hello,
I also made a purchase on this site Friday morning.
We had a big doubt because there were still tickets available in the evening while on the official sites in France everything was sold out, and I blocked my credit card on Friday evening, but I just saw this morning that the amount has still been debited.
My banker is supposed to call me back, but I'm afraid I won't be able to get my money back!
We have no guarantee of receiving the tickets before the concert.
Does anyone have any news??
