Bonjour,
je viens vous voir car j'ai un soucis d'installation de windows xp sur macbook intel core 2 duo.
Je n'ai pas réussi a trouver la solutin mais j'ai vu que je n'etait pas le seul dans ce cas.
En fait le lecteur de mon macbook est cassé et donc j'ai investi dans un graveur externe. J'ai deja essayé de faire une reinstalation de mac os et je n'ai eu aucun soucis avec ce lecteur.
Par contre quand je veux installer XP via boot camp (version officiel XP SP 3 que je viens d'acheter) il me dit
"no bootable device inserer un disc bootable et appuyez sur une touche pour redémarrer".
Je n ecomprend vraiment ps ce que je dois faire.

Bonjour,
Le système du mac (OS x) ne reconnait pas le boot de système sur des périphériques externes (genre CD DVD ou USB drive)... mais ce petit programme te permettra de le faire : http://refit.sourceforge.net/
Il rajoute des options pour entre autre choisir de booter sur un drive externe. Après l'avoir installé, branche ton lecteur externe, démarre ton mac en tenant enfoncé la touche option, sélectionne l'option rEFIt dans le menu de boot et tu verra ton cd ou DVD externe comme option de boot.
Amuse toi bien !

Merci pour ta réponse mais ca n'a pas résolu mon problème.
J'ai bien installé refit mais je ne vois aucune difference en appuyant sur alt au demarage.
il ne me montre que la partition os et la windows.
Doit je configurer quelque chose ?

avais-tu ton cd de windows dans ton lecteur externe quand tu as démarré ?
alors la je viens de tout refaire pour voir et je ne vois meme plus refit au demarage.

oui tout a fait.
alors j'ai bien vu une difference depuis mais ca ne marche toujours pas
actuellement quand je boot sur refit il me propose de booter du cd mais au final j'arrive sur l'ecran noir et ca ne veu pas booter.

Voici la procédure avec rEFit (en anglais, si tu ne comprends pas dit le moi je te traduirais) :
Simply download rEFIt:
And run the installer when the DMG mounts. An "efi" folder will appear inside Macintosh HD. Leave it. Make a blank partition for Windows (if you haven't already). Any size will do. Insert the Windows Install DVD/CD into the external drive.
Reboot...
Hold Option...
Select the disk with the name "rEFIt" in bold. After a short delay, a logo will appear "rEFIt". And a series of icons. Press the corresponding arrow key to go to the disc. Select it, and it will then boot into the Install CD**.
** Denotes that this process DOES take a lot of time, the computer or rEFIt hasn't crashed, just wait it out, everything can be sluggish.
Make sure the Windows partition is formatted as FAT (MS-DOS). If you made it with Boot Camp Assistant, it will be. Otherwise, open up Disk Utility and do it.
Once in the Windows installer:
For Vista, format the disk to NTFS in Drive Options directly from the Installer. If it says "Windows cannot be installed onto this Disk. The selected disk is of the GPT Partition Table", go back to OS X and format the Partition to FAT and select the appropriate partition for install when you are back in.
For XP or previous, simply continue the Install, For gods sake, make sure you look at which partition you install to , I didn't once, and lost everything.
Above is exactly what I did. I wrote it all down so I wouldn't forget it. I knew it may come in handy
