Installation xp et vista

Bonjour,
j ai un hp compatible VISTA mais je n arrive pas à installer XP familiale. l installation s'arrête à chaque fois.
Si quelqu'un peut me donner des idées svp? Car, j'ai vraiment besoin de XP car j ai mes logiciels qui ne sont pas compatibles avec VISTA.
