Hello,
I received my new PC yesterday, a Dell XPS.
However, when I turn on the PC, every time it starts, the BIOS indicates Alert! CPU Fan Failure.
I would like to know exactly what this means and how to fix it.
Thanks in advance!

The fan is spinning, but very weakly; you can barely feel it by hand. Is there a way to increase its performance to find out if the problem comes from there?
Well, I didn't understand everything, excuse me...
So to summarize, all the fans in the PC are working, I changed the speed of the CPU fan a bit but it's impossible to know if the problem is from there.
Moreover, changing just one part voids the warranty and I think I will need it.
The CPU Fan Failed alert is still there.
Is there a software to measure the temperature? So I can see its evolution based on the changes I'm going to make to the fan?
Anyway, the hardest part is figuring out where the problem is and why I have this error message.

Wow, your PC is heating up to 78°C, that's not good. The problem might be that your CPU fan should be connected to FAN 1, not to FAN 3, and at 5000 RPM, it should be purring in there! :p
Could you install EVEREST? I manage that log better than Speedfan.

Sure for Everest but which log should I give you among all the possibilities?
Anyway, if you could show me the path in the software to provide you with the right log, that would be very nice.

"Install Everest Ultimate or HOME, then go to Computer in the software and probe there; you will get the fan speeds and temperatures."
"SpeedFAN detects only one fan, so do you only have one? Also, try connecting your current fan to another pin on your motherboard next to the one it's connected to; it should be labeled CPUFAN."

Got it! The test on your CPU fan failed, either because it's not working, it's disconnected, or the BIOS is acting up a bit :p! Enter the BIOS and disable the verification request.

Oki! Well, if the fan isn't working, it's clear that it's dead, but if you let your computer run without the fan, then it's the processor that's going to die.

I believe it simply doesn't work.
I'll check if it’s properly plugged in, otherwise, a quick call to Dell wouldn't hurt.
I'll keep you posted!

In the BIOS on certain motherboards, yes you can increase the RPMs! Is it not a laptop?

Okay, that's already a good point :p! Try another fan, even a case fan that you can quickly place on the original fan to test to see if it has to do with the RPM or if it's a problem with the current flow via the socket or simply the fan itself. Check your BIOS if there are options to change the RPM, but you'll hear that fan spinning, which will reduce its lifespan :/! Look at the temperature of your CPU; if it remains okay, then leave it as is and disable the FAN check in the BIOS.

Install Everest Ultimate or HOME, then go to "Computer" in the software and probe, there you will find the towers and the temperature. How many fans are connected to your motherboard?
It's clear, don't change any parts but connect another fan to the current connection pin of your CPU fan, then start the computer and see what it says at startup.

Fans:
Processor 4963 RPM
so here we don't have the same temperatures even if your CPU is too hot at 64° when doing nothing, your fan is running at 5000 RPM which is noisy but doesn't cool very well,
the problem must come from there, your BIOS alarm must be set to 50° or your fan is not connected in the right place, anyway you'll have to change your CPU fan after your warranty (why not even bring the PC back for this reason) and invest in a real fan like a ZALMAN compatible with your motherboard!
