Hello everyone, I just went through the forum, I read a lot of posts about these vehicle advertisements with payment by transfer, I am experiencing the same thing, with the only difference that the seller is asking me to pay in cash upon delivery, which is supposed to take place this afternoon. Does anyone know about this kind of practice and could inform me? Thank you in advance.

    Hello
    Scam
pay in cash on delivery which is supposed to happen this afternoon,
The principle seems fine but the delivery person will have problems and will want payment in advance
    try it and see !!!
Well someone sensible won't buy without seeing !!!!!!
You don't buy a car without seeing it
You don't give money to a stranger, especially via western union (it's forbidden)
Forget about all the internet ads from scam sites in Africa that are easy to recognize (ghost cars to be delivered), but prefer to select based on your budget from local ads (which you can find online without a problem) that are likely to suit you and nearby and call the owners (a real honest seller will put their landline and mobile number)
A real seller will not hesitate to give their address to see it
(avoid ads with only a mobile number,
    it always hides something).

Hello and thank you, for now it has never been a question of paying by Western Union, he simply asks me to pay in cash upon delivery, I have not yet seen a post with this kind of direct payment, if the delivery happens, I will see the vehicle and can check the papers, but will it happen; I doubt it, for now I am not taking any risks, it seems to me, thank you for your help.
