Logitech 5.1 Connection

Solved

Hello,
I bought a LOGITECH 5.1 sound system => Logitech X-540

The problem is connecting it to my ACER laptop; there are 3 mini jacks coming from the subwoofer, and on my laptop, I have 3 outputs but only one for sound, which is the headphone jack. I use my mobile disco like this, jack -> RCA on the mixing table,

What I actually need is a multi-jack adapter with 3 female to one male so I can connect everything,

I won’t have DOLBY 5.1, but that's okay; I want to make all the speakers work, so I need to connect the 3 jacks to my laptop,

Are there multi-jack adapters for 3 jacks? How can I do this?

Thank you....
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.2

Hello everyone, I had the same problem a few days ago. Actually, it's simple: there are three mini jacks to plug in, but on the PC there's only one input. In the packaging box, there's an adapter that comes with it. You just need to buy an RCA cable (white and red) that ends in a single mini jack and there you go, it’s done! I was worried too... Generally, if the seller is nice, they might give you this cable. For your information, this cable costs 3.50 euros. Safe travels!

Good evening
The Logitech X-540 has a matrix mode
You just need to connect a single cable ... the green front one, I believe
and activate this mode to get sound on all 6 speakers

Regards

AHHHHHHHH what an idiot I am! In fact, when I tried, I hadn't pressed that button, so I unplugged the speakers that weren't working,

Thank you! Now everything works!!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hi, I have a solution for you. With your 5.1 setup, you were sold an adapter that has 3 female 3.5mm jacks. You connect the 3 male jacks from the subwoofer, then you need an RCA/jack cable that you can find for less than €3. You connect the jack to your PC and RCA to the adapter.

The problem is that a male jack with 3 female outputs doesn't exist... I'm looking for one too.
