Anno 1404 key mission + chest

Hello,
I have a big issue with mission 5 (I think) of Anno 1404.
Al Zahir wants me to deliver the key and the chest. I found both, but the problem is that my ship containing the key sank, and I can't find the key anymore. (no debris).
Who has my key? An enemy? I don't think so.
Do I have to restart the whole mission?

    Put your mouse over the quest menu, on the minimap you will see red circles corresponding to the locations of the items requested by your quest; the key must have fallen into the water.

    I tried, but the red circles are on Al Zahir's deposit.
    Even though I didn't give him the key.

    I just found the key.
    It was indeed at sea, but not marked on the map or with the red circles.

      Hi hercules03, like you, I'm struggling to find that damn key. Plus, I can't land on the island that contains the logbook. You say the key is at sea! Please, can you help me a little? It's true that it’s been a while since you played, will you remember? Thanks in advance!
