[mysql] #2003 - Impossible de se connecter au serveur MySQL

Question

Hello, as stated in the subject of the message, I have a problem with easyphp, particularly with mysql which, when I connect to it via the port 127.0.01/mysql, returns an error message: #2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on 'host or my ip' (10061), the server is indeed running.
Moreover, I can't execute my php pages!

I had the same problem and I solved it by setting the priority of the mysql process (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) to high.

check if config file is:  server: "localhost" login: "root" pass: "" (none required) database "blabla" according to the given name :-)

I would like to migrate my ACCESS database to MySQL.

I am using DBSync for MS Access & MySQL 5.3.0 on Vista. It seems easy to use, but I can't connect to the MySQL server.

I filled in the fields as follows:

Username (default 'admin'): admin

DESTINATION:

Destination: MySQL database

(BEGIN connection part)

Host name (default localhost): localhost

Use SSH: <Unchecked>
Username (default 'root'): root
Password: <empty>
Connection encoding: utf8

(END connection part)

Database: <empty>

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, when I click on "Test connection", I get the following error:

"Error 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)"

If anyone could help me solve my problem.. that would be nice :)

I have the same problem but I think that port 2003 needs to be opened whereas all the ports (according to my PC) are open, so I don't understand why this error message appears... For me, it's the same; I cannot run the phpMyAdmin page... It's rare that I can execute it; sometimes I can, sometimes I cannot. I have disabled the firewall and it still doesn't work. I think it's my Freebox that is blocking port 2003 and port 10061, but I don't know how to open them!!
PLEASE HELP ME solve THIS PROBLEM.

Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' " I suggest uninstalling WAMP, deleting the MySQL directory (Program files) and reinstalling WAMP again.

I am posting this message to report my problem as this forum indicates.
When I click on ====>Open Connection it tells me:
2003-Can't connect to MySQL server on, Anyway...
I would like someone to explain to me why this is happening and how to resolve it ;')

Hello/Hi,

I had the same problem but with wampserver version 2.2. Since I tried several things without success, I decided to test if the problem persists with an earlier version for which I had the installer.

As a result, it worked, so I no longer have a problem. However, I am on wampserver 2.0i now.

If you are interested, I can share my installer, just let me know!
