Old high school diploma results
Solved/ClosedMinere -
Hello, I have a problem with one of my work colleagues whom I am their hierarchical superior.
This person claims to hold a vocational baccalaureate in automated mechanical systems (bac pro msma) for about ten years, while it was not mentioned on their CV when they were hired five years ago.
This diploma allows them to register for a promotion exam to a higher grade (I work in the public service) because only holders of at least a bac can register for this exam, hence I think this sudden claim.
They have never provided any diploma because it is true that they suffered a significant fire in their previous residence before their hiring.
But given their poor knowledge in the field of mechanics and electricity, I really doubt that this person could hold such a diploma.
I would like to know if anyone knows how we could do this, or which site to visit to get the bac results and find out if this person really has this diploma without having to go through my management (mayor and municipal council who surely have access to other types of services and sites but could take action if it turns out that they do not have any diplomas), so that we can settle this between us.
Thank youConfiguration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0
You have the right to check if the guy has the diploma; otherwise, you assume he doesn't have it since it wasn't mentioned on his resume, and that's it, no qualifying exam for him, it's over, so who's the boss? ^^
It's up to him to prove he has it, since apparently he didn't have it at the time of his hiring, oh yeah...!
How does it bother you? If you’re better with or without a diploma, you’ll manage to prove it, and if he’s really that useless, he’ll fail on his own! Personally, I don’t like snitches whether it’s work or personal, they usually cause more harm out of jealousy. What I say is, work and prove that you’re better and that’s it!
If he lied, that’s his problem not yours, and he might have had reasons, not everyone has the chance to study for various reasons, oh yes, nobody has the same background, everyone is just trying to live. If he had to do that, he probably has good reasons, otherwise, he could just be a liar but at least, if he works well, I think he deserves his place. Who hasn’t lied in their life!!!! Everyone lies to themselves, so seriously stop acting like the police or change jobs!!!!!
And if you keep getting yelled at it’s because you have a problem at work, you do it so you’re hypocritical and jealous!
Let it go, we always get caught up by our mistakes so it will happen, and you should focus on working well so your boss is happy!
Is it necessary to remind that a diploma is a certificate of aptitude?
That it is awarded after successful studies?
That these studies serve to teach knowledge?
That this knowledge, in the vast majority of cases, cannot be compensated by work?
That an incompetent person is a burden for those who work with them?
I met someone who lied about their skills and the result was disastrous.
This person was aggressive and tried to get anyone who questioned a situation fired.
Let’s not kid ourselves, incompetent people are not fired, especially if they hold a position of responsibility.
You just have to know how to manipulate the right people.
To verify a person's diplomas, perhaps you should go through the service that organizes the exams and issues the diplomas, the SIEC (Inter-Academic Service of Exams and Competitions).
