Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to remove the background of a photo using the software PhotoScape.

If yes, how can I do it?

Best regards
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Good evening Zozo,

Well....... we can't do it. Photoscape doesn't have the necessary tools for this operation, it's too basic.
We would need to use a slightly more comprehensive yet still very simple software like the free PhotoFiltre, it would be easy to recommend GIMP but it is significantly more complicated than Photoscape and just the time needed to learn how to use it would mean that by the time you get it, nothing would be up to date anymore.
    Free PhotoFiltre: http://photofiltre.free.fr/

      Hello Zozo
      Open and duplicate your photo
Select the part you want to keep with the polygonal tool (this allows you to make a more precise cutout)
Invert the selection, and click the "Delete" key on your computer
      Mask the selection
Use the dropper tool and run it around your image
      Save as
