    Problem solved

    I downloaded the file sp29873.exe and I launched sp29873.exe
which was then extracted to c:\swsetup\SP29873

If you follow the installation, there are MS-DOS commands and an error, so it's impossible to continue
then I went to device manager >> AC 97 (driver update)

    - Install from a list.... >> include this location in my search:
    - in browse go to C:\swsetup\SP29873
    - next

Thanks to everyone who helped me!!!

    Hello,

To learn a bit more about your setup, please do the following:

---> Download and install Everest Ultimate.

---> Launch it, go to Computer then Summary and give us the summary. To take the summary, use the Report function at the top of your screen: Image

PS: please remove your email address if it appears in the report.

    Hello,

Find the driver for your network card in order to establish an internet connection.
Then go to www.touslesdrivers.com, you will find plenty of your drivers there; if not, visit the HP website under Support and try to find your computer there to retrieve the appropriate drivers.

Do you have any yellow question marks in the device manager? If so, where?

Right-click on "My Computer" then choose "Properties" tab "Hardware" then click on the "Device Manager" button

In the Device Manager, do you see a Conexant device?

Right-click on the uninstalled device and select Properties. Choose Details and copy-paste the Device Instance ID here.
