Hello,
I would like to create a PRIVATE server for World of Warcraft for myself and my friends, and I'm looking for software (or a website?) to create one for free.
(preferably WotLK 3.1.3)
So if you could help me out ^^
Bye!

Hello
Here’s a small excerpt from the official World of Warcraft forum:
To simply answer your question, I invite you to read or reread:
- The End User License Agreement (EULA):
https://www.blizzard.com/fr-fr/legal
4. Responsibilities of the End User
B. You agree that under no circumstances
(iii) will you host, provide, or develop player-versus-player confrontation services for the Game, nor intercept, emulate, or redirect the communication protocols used by Blizzard Entertainment in any way, which includes without limitation, protocol emulation, tunneling, sniffing, modifying, or adding components to the Game, using a utility program or any other technique known to date or developed later, for the purpose, among others, of playing on unauthorized networks on the Internet, playing online using commercial or non-commercial gaming networks or within content aggregator networks; or
(iv) will you create or maintain, under any circumstances, unauthorized connections to the Game or the Service. All connections to the Game and/or the Service, whether created by the game Client or by other tools or utilities, may only be made by methods and means expressly approved by Blizzard Entertainment. Under no circumstances may you connect, or create tools allowing you or others to connect to the proprietary interface of the Game or to interfaces other than those expressly provided by Blizzard Entertainment for public use.
- The Terms of Use for the game:
https://www.blizzard.com/fr-fr/legal
3. Restrictions on your use of World of Warcraft.
B. Only Blizzard Entertainment or its licensees have the right to host World of Warcraft. Consequently, you do not have the right to host, provide game creation services, emulate, or redirect the communication protocols used by Blizzard Entertainment for World of Warcraft, by whatever method used for this purpose. Such prohibited methods may include, but are not limited to: protocol emulation, decompilation, modification of World of Warcraft, adding components to World of Warcraft, or using a utility program to host World of Warcraft.
- The third window that appears when you create a game account or when you update the game:
TERMINATION OF SERVICE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE FOR SERIOUS VIOLATION OF TERMS OF USE
[...] "Serious Violations" of the Terms of Use for World of Warcraft include:
2. Hosting, providing synchronization services, or intercepting, emulating, or redirecting the communication protocols used by Blizzard Entertainment as part of World of Warcraft, by whatever method used
So if you don’t feel like reading, I'll summarize the situation for you: private servers are illegal!
Regards.
