Is it dangerous to give out your address?

Hello,

So, my friend went on a trip to India.
He connected in a cyber café to talk to me.
Since then, someone has been logging into his profile in his place.
Today, I spoke with this person: he is Indian, 20 years old according to what he told me.
He says he logs into my friend's account because he doesn't have an ID or IP address?!? I don't understand everything because he speaks in English.
He gave me his email address and wants me to give him mine to chat. I'm not against this idea; it's funny to talk to an Indian who is 7000 km away, but I’m cautious and I wonder if there's a risk in giving him my address. Can he do something with it? Send me viruses or use my account for who knows what...

        The best thing is, for example, if you go on a dating site or if you have doubts about the identity of your potential unseen interlocutor...
        In my opinion:
        Either you create a disposable email address (for a limited duration)
        Or you create a permanent email address reserved only for this type of contact, with a pseudonym and also a complex password.
        That way, if you discover that your correspondent is questionable, you can delete your email address with one click and, moreover, if you didn't have anything sensitive on it...
        I see no other solution to provide an email address with the minimum associated risks to a stranger.
