Facebook invites by itself!

So I've changed my Facebook code once again and as Rockprincess suggested, I've also changed my password on my email. In my opinion, this won't solve my problem because I regularly change my codes and it still happens.
I'm considering sending an email to the Facebook webmaster to complain, we'll see what he says!

Well, it's been about a year now, and I’ve already had 3 or 4 "friends" that I knew who "accepted my invitation" (so they had access to my personal info, photo, profile, etc...) without me sending anything at all! The problem is that there are people I knew but didn't want to invite at all. It's very awkward for me because I had to delete them afterward, and especially since they had access to things I didn't want them to see.
Has anyone else had the same issue?

I had the same problem: I was supposed to have "invited" my mother on Facebook (please don't laugh)!! Obviously, she's generally the last person I wanted to "invite"!!!

I just found on Facebook's site an "option" that says all contacts scanned through the email address are saved, and there’s a button that says you can delete all email addresses. Well, I deleted them, but it seems "miraculous" that it actually deletes everything!

I have exactly the same problem! Friends who are not registered on Facebook keep receiving invitations from me without me having done anything!

Could you please detail the steps to successfully remove this rather annoying option, especially with professional contacts?!

AAhh no I think I found it!!

If we go to Account > Edit friend list > Invite friends > View all invitations > Clear request history, does that allow us to delete the addresses of people not involved???

I found out how to access this feature. However, it's quite tricky because you really have to search for it. To access

"Delete imported contacts using the friend search tool"

You need to go to your friends list
> under "Find friends via their email address" click on "Learn more" (it's below "Search for friends"
> Click on "this page" which is a hyperlink
> finally click on "delete"

However, you need to be sure that these people were added via this function, because once you click on it, all the people added by email via Hotmail are deleted permanently.

Could suggesting friends be the cause of the problem? Yet it happened to me again last week, a guy I didn't know at all accepted my friend request! I'm in France and the guy was in Tunisia, no mutual friends... Who knows! But it's really an awkward situation!

My fiancé, who wasn't registered, received several invitations from me even though I never sent him any! That’s quite crazy!

I just learned yesterday that I invited someone who is friends with one of my friends, even though I didn't send anything at all, but I did comment on a photo with her on a wall.
