How to make money on Nintendogs?

Hello,
I just bought the Nintendogs game on DS, but I don't have enough money to buy another puppy and I can't manage to earn any.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    It's easy, you just have to enter three contests with a puppy each day and come in first to earn trainer points. I have a tip: when you brush your dog, leave the brush on its head for 1 minute, that's 1 point. Just make sure to leave the door open.
