Stuck in My Sims kingdom

Hi! I'm stuck in My Sims Kingdom on the Wii. I'm stuck at the place: Tiphany's Nature Reserve. My task is: A Special Palace. I have to build a palace for a cat named: Miss Precious.
I need to build a palace so she can oversee the town from above, and she needs to be able to walk there. But, I built this palace and it's not working.

Please help me!!! I don't know what to do anymore. To help me, you can tell me what you did to build the palace!

    We are in the same boat you and I, I heard that we need to be careful with blue lights, they show us which shape to choose and that if we do it right (the palace...) the cat will follow us all the way up. Thank you for letting me know if you manage to do it :)
