Reading clip file types VIDEO

Question

I have a file of type "CLIP VIDEO" on my machine. Which software can I use to play it on my machine? I have Windows XP Home Edition.  Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

I have the same problem... I don't know how to open this fucking "clip video" file either. This file won't open with Windows Media or Movie Maker. And my codecs seem to be up to date.  Anyway, HELP

Go to http://codecs.necromancers.ru/ and install a DIV3 video decompressor (Codec); specifically, the DIVx 3.22b codec for Windows. And that's it. No problems during installation, or after.
