Samsung C3050

Hello,
I just bought a Samsung C3050 and I really like it... It's practical, has a nice design, and also great battery life, which is nice (compared to the Samsung J600 I had before... I liked it, but had to recharge it all the time). Well, some might think my question is stupid, but anyway... It's actually a detail, here it is: when I send texts, I like to include little drawings, smileys, you know... Little animated characters, birthday cakes, in short, a little drawing for every occasion. And now, I can't find them on the Samsung C3050...! I'd be very surprised if someone tells me there aren't any because all the phones I've had before had this kind of little smileys or animations, or even ringtones to attach to texts... And I can't find them on this phone...
Could someone enlighten me? I've checked several times when sending texts, but I can't find them, sniff...

Thank you for your help, your explanations ;)

You need to go to options, then advanced settings, then it's up to you, nothing more.

Hi!

I just got the Samsung C3050 like you, and I have a question about a little aesthetic issue:
on the home screen, the time is displayed twice, once in small and once in large, and I have the date and the operator written underneath, all of it looks pretty ugly. Is there a way to remove all that? Just keeping the time (displayed once would be enough ^^)
I've rummaged around by myself and read the manual, but I can't find anything.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, if you're ready to help and know this mobile well, I have a question:
I recently bought a Samsung c3050 and I'm getting used to it little by little (Nokia 33-10i before^^) but I have a pretty frustrating problem: I can't put a circumflex accent on my letters. Before, by clicking on the 1-abc key, I had the letters a, b, c, the number 1, and the accented versions of these letters, for example, with "â" in this case. Now, it's impossible and it doesn't appear either there or in the special characters where only the ^ appears by itself...
What to do?
And if it's impossible to have direct access to the accents, can I download software on my phone that would include the characters I'm missing?

Thank you very much! =)

Ok thanks for your answers! I found some emoticons and that's enough for me... A bit disappointed that I can no longer send melodies but well, it's not vital lol. But now I have another problem with my phone (reminder: samsung C3050). I want to clarify first that it's working very very well but here, in my opinion, it's an adjustment issue but I can't find it!
So, before I could send MMS without any problem: I would go to "my files", then "my images", I would choose the image, "options", "send via MMS" and it would be done directly, I could add text if I wanted etc... And now, when I select "send via", I no longer have "MMS".... I only have "send via Message or Bluetooth"! Can someone explain to me why, without ever changing anything, I can no longer send MMS...
I can still do it actually but it first goes as a SMS to which I add an image actually... And in that case, I get a warning message "this media may not be viewed by the recipient"
Pfffff I would like to be able to send MMS like before, that is to say simply by doing "send via MMS" from the image

Can someone help me solve this problem?
Thank you
Gyvie

It's very simple, sending via message is the same as MMS so don't worry ;)
It doesn't change anything at all
Just to clarify: I also have a Samsung c3050 and I know just about everything about it
So if you have a problem, feel free to ask me
I'll help you out ;)
There you go, hugs and good luck

Sorry, I forgot something.
If you receive a message like this, it means that a setting has changed.
You should check the settings, I think.
In any case, if your problem doesn't get resolved, ask your operator for help.
Maybe they will have the answer.
Alright, bye ;)

Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply. It's true that it doesn't change anything; when I want to send an image, it gets sent like a message, and I can put text with it, and the people I send it to receive it, so that's fine... If one day it doesn't work anymore, I'll contact my operator or... change my phone, lol... I gave the Samsung S3100 to my boyfriend for his birthday, and I have a crush on it... But well, I haven't had my C3050 for long, and it works great, so I'll make an effort to keep it a little longer.
Best,
Gyvie

Good evening,
I am on the forum to find someone who could help me with my Samsung C3050 that I have only had for 2 months. I thought I had explored all possibilities, but since yesterday, every time I press a key, it makes a sound, and I don't want that, it's annoying. I went into settings, etc., and I can't find anything regarding my problem? I must have accidentally pressed a key, but which one?
Thank you for your help.

It's probably a problem with the key; in short, your phone may have an issue with the electronics it contains.

To add smileys, press the 1 key twice and you'll get smileys. ;p

Well, it's very simple, you press 7 times on the 1 and it'll give you the two dots for the eyes, and then you press 8 or 9 times on the 1 and it'll give you the ( or ).

I hadn't finished, you need to go to add an object and then you click yes, then options, then add text, and finally you go to emoticons and there you go!! :)

On the C3050, there is no flash; take a closer look at the AR section.

So if there are any "little drawings", when you send your SMS you press the * key on your keyboard (at the bottom left) and then you scroll down with the arrows and press the number of the little drawing. There you go, now if you don't understand, just ask me again.

Hello everyone,
so here I am with a little technical problem with my Samsung C3050...
I made sure (to keep my phone on during class while trying to be discreet ><") to put my phone in "silent" mode and have it automatically send a message saying I am in class...
However, I can no longer find the way to stop this automatic message from being sent as soon as I am in "silent" mode...
Can anyone please help me who has found the answer to my question... I thank you for responding as quickly as possible here please (I've been looking for months T-T)
Thanks everyone!! Big hugs (k))
