Hello,
I have a Canon Pixma MP 750 (printer, scanner, copier) that I've owned since 2005. It has always worked very well. However, for the past two weeks, when we try to print (either from the PC or a photocopy), horizontal white lines appear on the paper, always at the same level. We have performed all possible cleanings (head cleaning, nozzle cleaning, roller cleaning, ...) and have reset the printer with no results. When we print the test page, all colors are present but without white lines (we believe that the area where the colors are printed does not overlap with the area where the white line normally appears).
What do you think? What could the problem be? Do you think the age of the printer plays a role? It’s true that this printer has been used quite a bit (but what's the point of buying a printer if you're not going to use it?)
Is there a way to have it repaired, or are these white lines a common "illness" of printers?
Thank you

Good evening,
it's a shame, but your print heads have partially dried out. The only way is to do cleaning cycles over and over again (this happened to me with an Epson and I used one cartridge of ink per color before it worked again), so the only advice I can give you is to keep doing the cleanings (personally, I had to do it about fifteen times).
Good luck!
